Pressure Washer Hoses

Pressure washer hoses deliver powerful water streams to efficiently eliminate dirt, grime, and grease from surfaces. Commonly abused, pressure cleaner hoses endure significant wear and tear. Opt for a durable power wash hose that is designed tough, from industry leading brands like Legacy and A+. Models range in lengths up to 1000′,  with pressure ratings up to 6000 PSI.

Questions We're Asked

Pressure washer hoses are not universal. When choosing the right hose, it is important to make sure the ID (Internal Diameter) and temperature rating is compatible with your machine. For more on this,  read our pressure washer hose guide here or contact one of our dealer experts.

Pressure washers use hoses reinforced with a metal braiding to endure abrasive conditions, high pressures, and high temperatures, especially for hot water models. Beware of some manufacturers that rebrand standard hydraulic hoses as pressure washer hoses. These hoses are not designed for cleaning tasks and can rupture, posing serious harm to the operator.

Our Legacy and A+ hoses are specifically engineered for high-stress commercial cleaning applications and are popular among professionals who prioritize quality and performance.

Not necessarily. While longer hoses can cover more ground, they are heavier, harder to maneuver, and can result in a pressure drop. It's often better to move your pressure washer to cover more ground rather than using a longer hose.

The difference lies in the metal sheath inside the hose. 1 wire hoses are lighter and more flexible, handling up to 3500-4200 PSI. 2 wire hoses are more durable, handle higher pressures (up to 5000-6000 PSI), but are heavier and less flexible.

The internal diameter (ID) of the hose affects water flow and pressure drop. Thicker hoses have less internal resistance and less pressure drop, but are heavier. Choose a thicker hose for better flow rate or a thinner hose for easier handling, depending on your needs.

It is important to consider that hoses hold highly pressurized water. A blown hose can recoil and seriously injure a user, and a puncture can be as dangerous as the working end of the pressure gun. A ruptured hose can easily cut a user with a high pressure water stream. It is not worth it to risk injury for a repair, so if your hose is damaged, replacing the entire hose is the safest option.
